These are the official U.S. Storm Signal Flag Set used to indicate that a Hurricane Warning (74+ mph Winds) is in effect.
They are manufactured from high tensile strength heavyweight nylon.
This is the leading commercial flag used by the United States Coast Guard and other marine installations.
The red flags are complete with a white canvas header and grommets. The seams are double stitched for minimum wind damage. However, no flag is designed to survive a Cat 5 storm.
Each set contains 2 flags and 2 pennants. A set consists of:
2 each 36" x 36" Red Hurricane Warning Flag with Black center square.
